Michael Bay directing on Pain & Gain
We had such a huge movie crew, it was like a circus. When you try to do these action scenes where you really don’t need a lot of stuff: you need cameras, you need men moving stuff around, maybe a crane. Not a lot of lighting because when you’re doing exterior car chases, you just need rigs, you don’t need all the fluff that goes with moviemaking. Fluff can sometimes slow you down.
